Instructions for dropping off and picking up students

New Students
If you are preparing to register as a new student to the Aiken County School System in North Augusta you will need to bring the following with you when you register for school.

a copy of your school transcript from the school system you left
a copy of your immunization records
proof of residence (something official with your new address on it like your new driver's license, a power or phone hookup notice, or a lease or purchase agreement or contract)
money for school fees (This amount can vary depending on the courses you will be taking, but averages about $65.00)
custody documentation, when applicable

Incoming Freshmen
     In the spring of your eighth grade year, the counselors from North Augusta High School will visit the middle schools in North Augusta to help you plan for your high school years. Now is the time to begin thinking about your goals for life after high school and how best to achieve them.

     Some of the courses offered at NAHS require prerequisite classes, in other words, there are some classes that you must take in a certain order because of the skills built from one course to the next. Other courses may require a teacher's recommendation and/or require certain scores on PACT or other tests for you to be eligible to enroll in the course. Be sure that you give your best efforts when these tests are given, because they are important to show that you are ready for high school's challenges.
