Purchase and install a school-licensed SAT software program with individual scoring and content review, available to all students through the school’s network.

Students scoring below 100 on the PSAT will do one of the following:

      (a) Take the SAT Preparation course for one semester

      (b) Attend the SAT Workshop

      (c) Complete 20 hours of computer-assisted SAT practice through the school network.

During one-on-one spring registration for courses, each rising junior will complete a PSAT/SAT form for the student's permanent record.  Upon receipt of individual SAT scores, the SAT Coordinator will perform follow-up documentation of student preparation.  This documentation will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the action plan.

Students in the SAT Preparation take the real SAT during or upon completion of the semester they are enrolled in the course.

Each department will develop strategies to improve student SAT scores.  These strategies must include critical reading assignments, vocabulary, math skills, and writing activities.
